Yes, Americans under constitutional protections should be free to voice their opinions.
But, this one opinion (supporting Hamas and its savagery in targeting civilians—universally recognized as a monstrous war crime), multiplied by other similar opinions, represents a nascent political coalition. And politics is where bad ideas go to become bad policy.
Some speech is simply undeserving of human rights.
