Dems get about 80 percent of the Jewish vote(20 percent are Orthodox Jews who vote Republican) if even 20 percent out of that 80 percent of Dem voters either votes GOP or stays home, Dems are done and they know it
Jewish voters also contribute lots of money. The loss of campaign money is almost as disastrous as the loss of their votes.
Only place Jewish vote matters is Florida. Most Jews are in a handful on Congressional Districts that are overwhelmingly Dem without Jewish votes.
Jews mostly put their money where their mouths are, unlike most Dems. Shift 20% Dem money to the GOP would be a political earthquake.
That doesn’t add up except in House and lower votes.
Jews are 2.4% of the population. 80% is 1.92%
20% of that is .38%.
Now, the funding and media coverage are a different story.
