“Yes that’s true—but the likes of Wilson and other leaders of the Jacka$$ cult fought to keep it going, especially in the south long after the Civil War—that was the intent of my comment.”
Yeah I understood your comment. It sounds like the usual “history” that Dinesh D’Souza and Glenn Beck have popularized, along with their South bashing.
New Jersey Governor Woodrow Wilson was elected President 47 years after the Civil War ended, so no, he wasn’t reinstituting slavery.
The 2nd KKK era which began in 1915 included two Republican Governors, one being Edward Jackson of Indiana. The Democrat = Klan is a myth, they had no party affiliation. The Klan was anti-Catholic at a time when Democrats were running Al Smith for President.
Jim Crow laws, Black Codes, existed all across Northern states in the decades prior to the Civil War. They weren’t invented in the South.
Funny how liberals and media liberals in particular bitch and whine about swastikas while most of them proudly wear Columbia Sportswear on live TV.
If you don’t know what I mean here check out their logo.
What does the Columbia logo mean?
The iconic Columbia logo, which has been in use since the end of the 1970s, is a graphical representation of the standard weave method of textile yarns, a classic pattern, which is known as the Bug logo.

Woodrow Wilson praised the pro-Klan film The Birth of a Nation to the skies, and it's likely that the reason wasn't because he was born in New Jersey. In 1924 the pro-Klan delegates voted for Wilson's son-in-law, William Gibbs McAdoo.
Four Democrat governors and many Democrat Senators and Representatives were Klan members or suspected Klan members.

Americans are being gaslighted to advance hidden agendas. This is a plusperfect example.
I guess the Congressman got the memo to use the words words "conservative" and
"swastikas" in the same sentence, every chance he gets, to let the gaslighting commence.

I took the title here from the body of the text, not from the title the Daily Caller gave. The quote’s toward the end.
MEMORY LANE When Ilhan Omar began letting her anti-Semitism fly, then House Speaker Nancy Pelosi didn’t have the fortitude to directly admonish Omar.
Pelosi issued a general condemnation of anti-Semitism that felt as sincere as a drunken declaration of love during a shotgun wedding at the Elvis chapel in Vegas.
There are a great many questions about this complex Israeli invasion operation requiring considerable resources that went totally under the radar.
A compilation of clips we’ve been allowed to see, show Hamas invaded southern Israel. First they bombed Israeli observation towers and weapons systems on the border, then fired hundreds of rockets, as terrorists on para-gliders flew over the border. Moments later, Hamas approached the border fence, blew up holes in it, and allowed hundreds of terrorists to infiltrate into Israel.
Heavily armed Hamas militants on motorbikes breached the
high-tech, tightly-guarded border wall between Gaza and Israel.
Yet an IDF spox says on Twitter: “I served in the Israeli Defense Force Gaza division during the 2014 Gaza war... Listen to me, and listen to me well: There’s no way in the world that anyone can approach the Israeli border without IDF knowing about it.”
Huh?
It’s not about the title, it’s the non existent link to the article

US House Foreign Affairs Committee Chair Michael McCaul told reporters on Wednesday that Egypt had warned Israel three days before Hamas’s assault on southern Israel that “an event like this could happen,” according to US media.
“There seems to have been a failure of intelligence. We’re not quite sure how we missed it. We’re not quite sure how Israel missed it,” said McCaul after a classified briefing about the war.
“We know that Egypt had warned the Israelis three days prior that an event like this could happen. We know this event was planned perhaps as long as a year ago,” added the House Foreign Affair chair.
McCaul’s statements come after a series of reports that Egyptian intel officials had sent warnings to Israel ahead of Hamas’s assault over the weekend.

(Down South) Florida Republican Cory Mills has rescued 32 Americans stranded in Israel as its fight against Hamas intensified.
Today, photos of Mills, an Iraq veteran, emerged in which he was seen with a large group on a bus, leaving the war-torn country.
Mills told The Floridian that he flew overnight yesterday to get to the combat zone to help.
He provided similar help in September 2021 during the disastrous withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan.
