Back when I was a Harvard PhD candidate and lived in a Graduate dorm, I ate meals with Harvard Law School students in Harkness Commons. There were no radical muslims, terrorists, or Nazis among them. Really!

But a high school chum who wound up at Harvard Law, (legacy - dad was a full prof at the Med School), complained to me that all they were teaching him was how to be a Harvard Law professor.

I fled Cambridge in 1977 during a divorce, and have never even considered returning. Sister-in-law (from a later marriage) is still there, but we can't hold anything like a political conversation. Her levels of misinformation are breathtaking. They won't listen to anything but NPR, read anything but the NYT and the Globe, and their TVs are welded to WGBH.

I gave up listening to NPR as the result of 9/11—it made me much too angry. I never was a regular reader of the NYT. And I gave up on the Globe when it became trashy (i.e., no useful information) and ultra-leftist after several changes in corporate ownership.

I still view WGBH program video websites, but VERY selectively (drama, science, and history—NO politics)!!!! And I listen to their classical music station. Since they are against election integrity, I no longer give to them, despite my love of classical music.
