Well the way I understand it Hamas in the beginning at least was more involved in charity work and politics and weren’t advocating terrorist threats at the time. And since it was infiltrated by Israelis and their informants it served as the Israelis eyes and ears too. Only later did they go bad and become what they are today.
Yeah, pretty sure Osama bin Laden built roads and schools, too.
