If wild reports are true that the inhuman Hamas will execute dozens of civilian hostages, and if it is further accurate that there are rumored Americans among them—and if Americans then are to be executed by Hamas—aside from a military response, the United States will have to change radically its policies in the Middle East.
In the last 32 months they have been proven utterly disastrous. Hamas has gone full ISIS, and is now in addition reportedly beheading captured Israeli soldiers.

That gambit was designed to fuel Biden in the upcoming debate and indeed warp the election itself. And it did.
National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan has a similar politicized record, as one of the principles seeding the 2016 Clinton-campaign lie that a mythical Trump server was communicating with the Russians and thus proof of “Russian collusion”.
Sullivan, remember, just a week before the Hamas slaughter assured us that "The Middle East region is quieter today than it has been in two decades.”
So Hamas kills, while we tweet and delete….

Gaza 'already paid a price' last year
The Gaza Strip’s governing body Hamas is not prepared for war with Israel, nor is it likely to respond to violent clashes in Jerusalem, an Israeli military intelligence assessment found. Israeli defense officials said they don’t expect the current unrest between Palestinians and Israeli authorities at the al-Aqsa Mosque compound to escalate into a wider conflict involving militant groups in Gaza.
They added though, that Israel is nonetheless preparing for a potential flare-up that “could come at any moment,” Haaretz reported.
Israeli officials claimed that armed groups in Gaza – still recovering from last year’s war with Israel – are facing public and economic pressure to avoid another conflict breaking out.
According to the Israeli evaluation, Hamas’ military wing is not fully recuperated from last May’s rocket warfare and is under the impression that further cross-border clashes could leave it weaker.

As sad as it it Israel has to accept the hostages are dead already (even if they may be alive). As soon as you start trading for hostages, you lose.
Yup, same assessment was repeated last week by senior IDF officials
In fact, senior IDF and defense ministry officials said publicly last week that Hamas — which has since sent dozens of gunmen storming across the heavily-armed border under a fusillade of rockets — was not particularly interested in open conflict.
The hearing, which followed recent clashes along the border, saw the officials state that the militant group would not initiate war, the outlet said.

Enough of this dumbassery. Proper quote is past tense and occurred years ago, but they also shifted tactics.
Anyone with half a brain and/or intel background knows that when an enemy goes dark/quiet, it's a bad sign. It's also a tell which is easily discerned by intelligence governed by lack of bias or, for that matter, ulterior motives.
There is much, MUCH more to this than meets the eye, and the gaslighting itself is a tell as well.
Biden’s response, or lack of it, is only going to hurt his bid for a second term.
