I think the Sunni Arabs and Israel are in collusion to 1) clean out Gaza and the West Bank and 2) clean out the Shia (Iran). They knew the attack was coming and they let it come.

We simply could not allow Britain and The Royal Navy to fall into Nazi hands, because we relied on them to guard the Atlantic, while we were ramping up in the Pacific to defend against Japan.
Layer left/right hostility on top of that you have a very dynamic and confusing situation on your hands.

The Palestinians have excellent operational security. So, probably the Egyptians and the Americans noticed things in, say, traffic analysis, but nothing specific. Unless you have something specific the Israelis can look at and verify, then you can warn until you’re blue in the face. The Israelis might have perked up and tried to find something but it’s still possible nobody had any clue what was about to actually happen. We got nine-elevened. In retrospect all the clues where there but nobody put them into a coherent picture. You simply can’t be ready for EVERYTHING.
Stalin had multiple warnings about the impending German invasion, including a German communist who swam across a river to warn the Russians. Stalin simply didn’t believe such a thing could happen. I don’t think that’s an Israeli problem, but what did happen was so far out of proportion to previous attacks I can see where even if they were warned ahead of time, they wouldn’t believe it. Also, think normalcy bias.

True. They even had the wimpy Israeli media push his marital troubles and private life and said “Like Trump in the USA with his scandals about infidelity.” Remember, a lot of them are Socialists or Communists-—but not the patriotic Jews who came from the founders of 1948 Israel (like Netanyahu’s brother who was killed in Entebbe in Idi Amin’s Africa leading the hostage rescue raid July 4, 1976.)
The Israelis who do not want “harsh” “mean” stances against the Arabs hate Netanyahu.
American Jews (Reform decidedly and some Conservative but practically no Orthodox Jews) are divided on caring at all about Israel. Like Evangelicals the pro-Israel Jews support Netanyahu strongly.
Hindsight is 20/20, but wouldn’t you think that the 50 year ANNIVERSARY, to the DAY, of the Yom Kippur War, would expected to be a red flag warning? Methinks Bibi’s advisors are trying to “Trump” him. Like Trump haters, they couldn’t care less who gets hurt; they only care to destroy him.
O.T., but 911 was also “allowed” to happen. Never underestimate the military industrial complex, and the NWO. Plus our OWN intelligence agencies. Pretty much all snakes of the same ilk, doing Satan’s bidding.
In 1941 the FDR administration knew the Japanese where going to attack Pearl Harbor and wanted the attack to be carried out. This event in Israel was different.
It’s interesting that by some “miracle” the big prize, the carriers just so happened to be away from Pearl Harbor that day.
If the Japs had gotten those carriers, not saying we wouldn’t have eventually won, but it probably would have added at least 2-3 years and many more casualties.
