I’ve only carried once in my life (weddding reception in the fringes of downtown St Louis).
Starting tomorrow, whenever I leave the house, my Glock 17 goes with me, concealed or otherwise...
Yup. Both vehicles may be armed with extra mags possible. May not do any good but I feel better.
The first rule of a gun fight is have a gun. So take what you have.
That said, concealed is often better, for surprise and social reasons.
And Glocks, in general, while an absolutely fantastic handgun, are mediocre for concealed carry for a lot of people. (Some live them.)
Me, I had one slip out of my holster and drop down in the crack of doom between my front seat and the console in my car. I was scared to death the damn thing was going to fire when I fished it out.
Opted for a Ruger with an manual safety.
Options reasonably differ here.
