CIA and Mossad would have missed a well-planned attack

CIA probably helped plan it and it will be blamed on MAGA. The re-education camps are being formed as we speak

Yeah, the focus on the $6 billion ignores the resumption of aid to the PLA and Hamas not long after Biden took office. As VDH points out, this must be stopped immediately.

He also said “The GOP would jeopardize the House if they didn’t replace McCarthy.” If Congress does not elect a new speaker soon, there will be great damage. More dysfunction, chaos, will not lead to Republican success. Now is not the time to postpone the vote. The country needs leadership!

But..... I also believe that somewhere along the line some of the intel people went rogue.

Absolutely agree.

A Colonel I once worked for is Michael Hayden, who went on to be DIRNSA and then CIA Director.

He has become a Never-Trumper, and even said Trump should be killed.

When I knew him he seemed like a good fellow, extremely knowledgeable about history and warfare. When he turned, I don't know, but he is an ugly piece of excrement now.

The fact that there are dozens of Americans (probably dual citizens) held hostage by Hamas adds a whole other dimension to this war. It certainly augurs for more direct US involvement. Israel has a history of releasing large numbers of Palestinian prisoners in return for getting a relatively few of its own people back. The pressure on Bibi will be enormous to make concessions and to stop the retaliation before the job is done.

McCarthy was busy raising money for members of Congress, in return for their support. Will members of Congress, loyal to McCarthy, vote for a true conservative replacement?

Israel has a population of 10 million. We have 330 million. So to get an appreciation for the impact on Israel, you have to multiply the deaths and casualties by 33.

The 1,000 deaths would translate to 33,000 in the US.

I am amused. The Rs have leadership - McConnell and other RINO Senators, the RINOs running the House comities.

Where are the J6 Videos? THAT would be leadership. All I see is the UNIPARTY protecting their overlords and using the Bureaucracy to stiffly any opposition - FBI, being one such group

We’re getting a feel how the new MTP will conduct itself.

A roundtable of 4 Pennsylvania “swing voters” looks like the same ol’, same ol’ bias.

1) 40ish white female voted Trump but is now undecided
2) 70ish W male doesn’t like either ...Joe is suffering dementia but still good enough
3) 40ish w male ...post election behaviour disqualifies him ....(3-0 so far for Biden)
Finally...
4) 40ish black male who earlier agreed Joe has dementia and appeared to support Trump only said “My decision is made.” HIS CHOICE WAS NOT ANNOUNCED.

Same ol’, same ol’ it appears.

Welker’s interview of Gaetz was certainly not sympathetic, but within bounds of reporting, asking for explanations for his actions on A, B, C, etc. which Gaetz answered satisfactorily.

I reserve right to re-evaluate Welker.

..As much as i like Matt Gaetz he just said he dosnt care if we lose the house..

Considering the number of members of congress who may/may not be truly representative of ANYTHING but the wishes of the latest and/or highest bidder, the dude's got a valid point.

Party labels or published statements don't mean squat.

Only elected reps I truly trust are those I can get eyeball-to-eyeball if necessary. The longer I have to travel to get that level of contact, the less I trust.

This is sadly a typical bad part of the military—always thinking about the last war or action and not the one coming next.

We literally lined up our aircraft at Ford Island and Hickam Field in Hawaii that let the Japanese destroy almost all of them in their first wave of attack at Peral Habor.

Admiral Kimmel and General Short believed the danger came from Japanese saboteurs and thought the best way to protect them was putting all together with armed guards set up around them.

They were wrong! They knew dang well the Japanese Naval Aviation was a formidable force that was also audacious. They were told that the Japanese carriers left their port in the Kuril Islands and could not be found just days before.

And even when a Japanese minisub was spotted and destroyed in the Pearl Harbor channel entrance, the Navy Captain in charge thought the Destroyer captain was overstating because he thought the Japanese were incapable of such technology.

These blunders will be investigated in time. Those who made the decisions will be better off leading their troops into direct battle and dying heroically!

American hostages are going to suffer because of weak leadership too. When will the country wake up? Biden trusts Iran?

They are also under immense pressure from the Liberal West and others to concede to Palestinian “rights” and constantly berated as worse than Nazis by the Media and Far Left.

I think a mentality of hopelessness arose from such constant pressure.

Congressmen are addicted to raising money for their re-election bids. The country first is often ignored, while self-interests are first. I am a VN Vet too. Thanks for your service!

J6 participants are in jail. True criminals are released.
Illegals break the law, entering this country without
consequences.

Notice how across several networks, several guests, New York and Chicago are held to a different standard the Texas or Florida. Both hosts and guests held that double standard behind the questions and answers.

This Week...discussions of the govt. shutdown which raises the question:

Which govt. employees / service members DO NOT RECEIVE REGULAR CHECKS in the event of a shutdown.

We know everyone eventually receives full reimbursement after what amounts to a paid vacation, but who could is danger of financial trouble without the regular check ?

Ds like to claim EVERYBODY will go bankrupt.
