Might the Israeli left, like ours under Biden’s swamp, be strong within its intelligence agencies, focused on ‘get Bibi at all costs’ (like our ‘get Trump at all costs’ mindset) and fear their target’s intended fixes removing their power so much that they discount horrific open external threats. And so see this coming yet let it happen thinking to take down Bibi in response. Makes much more sense than any claim that none in the Mossad foresaw this. If I’m right they need to speed, rather than slow, Bibi’s judicial reforms so as to have a pro-Israeli judicial system to investigate at give justice to those who allowed this.
And yet, Saudi Arabia just condemned Israel for the attacks. Just like the “squad” in our US Congress is asking Israel not to respond, and not to defend its citizens (as well as OUR citizens in Israel).
I don’t pretend to know Israel’s internal politics, but this complete lack of intel stinks.

Dunno. But I do know that he has to deal with the Israeli version of the "Deep State" and yes, the Israeli population is leftist, especially in Tel Aviv.
Israeli population majority is not Leftist, by a long stretch. The old disgraced Socialist Israelis and new American-style Wokesters can’t win Israeli elections any more so they impose their will via Deep State bureaucrats and American-style judicial Leftist activism in the legal/judicial system.
Need to use some caution there...
The CIA probably can’t tell where the Hezbollah/Syrians(bad ones)/Syrians (good ones)/Russians/Lebanese/Lesbians/Druze are and aren’t in the north part.
That would proably have to left alone for now, so corporate gets focused on the next round of arms sales and not afraid that some massively applied decisive violence would create a cash flow issue. Gotta look out for the shareholders after all!
