Could be LIHOP like Pearl Harbor likely was, who knows. It seems highly unlikely with Israel’s sophisticated surveillance capabilities and deep infiltration of the Pals, that this came out of nowhere. Not sure what’s worse, LIHOP or a total intelligence failure. It’s clearly one or the other.
Of course the Biden administration knew that Iran, flush with 6 billion dollars would attack Israel. Joe Biden’s envoy to Iran was Obama’s former aide Robert Malley. He served in that capacity from Jan. 29, 2021 till approximately June, 2023. Suddenly envoy Malley’s security clearance was revoked and the FBI was investigating him for mishandling classified information.
I think it is logical that Envoy Robert Malley shared US classified information with the Iranian government.
