I’m pretty shocked Israel was blindsided like this. Their security has been pretty tight

Perhaps there are forces within Israeli intelligence working to make Netanyahu look ineffective as a leader so he can be ousted, particularly in light of the issues/protests over the restructuring of the supreme court in Israel.
