Have you ever dealt with the IRS? I have. This type of move is towards the end of a process, not the start.
Many folks on this thread don’t understand how the world works. But they are ready to believe Rudy without even hearing his side of the argument/discussion.
Were your dealings pre- or post-Trump?
To believe the IRS — or any fed agency— simply “follows a timeline” is naive in these times.
Except 2021 taxes would not have been filed until April of 2022 and possibly as late as October 2022 with an automatic extension. Don’t believe the IRS has run through the whole process in about a year unless they are out to get you.
