The Biden administration has paved the way for the construction of a new wall along the southern border in Texas by waiving more than a dozen federal laws in a stark reversal of its previous stance on the physical barrier.
The Department of Homeland Security announced the plan to bypass long drawn-out environmental reviews in order to expedite border wall construction in Starr County, TX as the administration struggles to handle an ongoing migrant crisis that has strained local and federal resources.
The area where construction is planned has seen “high illegal entry,” according to authorities.
“There is presently an acute and immediate need to construct physical barriers and roads in the vicinity of the border of the United States in order to prevent unlawful entries into the United States in the project areas,” Alejandro Mayorkas, the DHS secretary, said in a notice posted on the US Federal Registry.
The Democratic administration is picking up where former President Donald Trump left off.
One of Trump’s biggest campaign promises was to build a wall along the US-Mexico border and his administration constructed about 450 miles of border barriers between 2017 and January 2021.

The problem is not the wall, it’s the asylum laws, you can build a wall, but if don’t close the doors, what good is it? The razor wire and buoys worked fine on the Texas border until the administration forced Texas to remove them.
Mayorkas and Biden say the border is under control. So why do we need this?
While illegals are allowed to just walk in unchecked at ports of entry?
One would almost think an election is coming up against an opposition candidate who is for very strong border control.
The left scream tht it will “be too expensive to deport people back to their own country” yet as of decades ago, it was estimated that Illegaks cost this country etween 400 and 600 bi,lions dol.ars a year when all costs are added up (direct costs and Indirect costs)-
The cost now is likely over $1 trillion dollars a year now. Bussing or flying illegals to their coh try would be a drip in the buc,et co Laredo to what we would save IF we secured our border. It might cost a few billions, but we’d be saving hundreds of billions every year if we did so!

You mean after they destroyed millions in materials that was sitting there waiting to be used? You mean after 10 million invaders have crossed? You mean only after it is affecting blue cities? You mean because an election looms? Leadership? Hardly.
Must be an election coming up - Dems realize that their base doesn’t like this invasion, especially in far-from-the-border Democrat cities like New York and Chicago where invaders are being bused in by Abbott.
After the election, if Dems win, which I suspect they will given rampant vote fraud, all of this will be forgotten and/or any border wall erected will be dismantled.
