The enemy right now is not “the uniparty,” however weak and unreliable Republicans might be.

But, "weak and unreliable" Republicans are both because they are part of the uniparty and pandering to goals of its donors that contradict the base of the party.

The Republican establishment, the same people the were complicit in the Russian collusion claims, rigged the 2020 election and setup the J6 protesters, are every bit the enemy Democrats are.

“Gaetz elevated the power of the minority.”

It remains to be seen if the majority wants to play ball with the renegade 5%.

No. Silly analysis.

McCarthy was WARNED when he took the job: no Uke aid, move to impeach, or we vacate the chair. It was very clear. He whiffed on both.

This won’t happen, but . . . JUST SAY THERE IS NO SPEAKER FOR ALMOST A YEAR.

Hip hip hooray! Nothing happens in D.C. We know an impeachment, even if it passes, will stop in the senate. So the House can’t pass a single “good” bill that the DemoKKKrats in the Senate won’t kill, or that Rutabaga won’t veto.

I’m perfectly fine with a de facto shutdown.

That seems intuitive, but it's almost certainly incorrect.

By every method I've seen of measuring Federal taxes collected vs. Federal spending by state, there's no doubt that the biggest "donor" states are heavily Democratic states like New York, California, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Connecticut, etc.

It's mainly a function of urbanization, where these are the states with large urban and suburban populations have millions of middle-class people get pushed into upper-income tax brackets due to the inflated cost of living.

The most heavily subsidized states tend to be the ones that have few cities, large expanses of rural areas, lots of Federal lands and national parks, Indian reservations, and a large military presence.
