The question I have is, why are there 26 federal laws that prohibit it in the first place?
Part of me thinks that the federal government should be allowed to have — let’s say — 1000 laws. That’s it. If they think up a new law, they have to cancel one of the old ones. The states should have a certain amount of say in your life — but the federal government should be insignificant for most people. The fact that they have 26 laws that come into play for this wall issue is obscene.
