I'm glad McCarthy has been ousted but I'm a bit confused on why everyone is celebrating and not analyzing the vote. Only 8 republicans were for McCarthy's ouster. All the dims voted for him to be removed and the final count showed the 8 repubs as well. So all the republicans voted against his removal.

This doesn't mean a victory imo. Democrats are always 20 steps ahead of republicans in terms of strategy. There's always an agenda.

Gaetz was absolutely right but he has few allies in the House and I believe things are going to get ugly for him from the despicable republican party.

Because we already know 90% or more of elected Republicans have no spine and no principles. It’s an established fact around these parts, no need to wallow in it.
