Settings>>Notifications
Scroll way down to “Government Notifications”
Toggle “off”: “Emergency Alerts” and “Public Safety Alerts”
Enjoy a quiet afternoon.

I also have "Test Alerts" (iOS 17 specific?) & "Amber Alerts" turned off.

We'll see at 2:20p on 10/4 if that does the trick, or will it get pushed thru anyway.
