The issue is, republicans when they have the power, always and I mean ALWAYS give everything to the Dems..notice Dems never beg the GOP for anything..they are always lock step with each other, they know what they want and they get it..the GOP tries to play nice nice with people who want us dead
I guess it’s good that Matt Gaetz called Kevin McCarthy out on it. We didn’t even get any concessions. The difference was that this time is that Gaetz had the critical mass in the Freedom Caucus and the RINOs couldn’t do anything to stop him this time.

Yep. That “bipartisanship” and “working across the aisle” only works one way.
When the democrats take the White House, House, or Senate (or all three), they yell, “We won!” and “Elections have consequences”. When the GOP establishment take the majority in one or all of those offices, it is “you have to compromise”. The media and pollsters join in the chant and before we know it, every thing on the Democrat’s wish list is passed into law. Heck, we even give them some wins they haven’t yet asked for.
Because one third to one half of the Republicans agree with the democrats.
McCarthy certainly got no thanks from the Dems for the 45 day CR that went through, that they all voted for.
