Then why did this pass with 209 Demcorats and 7 Republicans voting for it?
As evil as the Dems are they are good at politics. What is their end game here? As useful as McCarthy has been to them, why do they seem to think his removal is good for them?
Because there would not have been a Vote on McCarthy if he had kept his word to his
