“Won’t surprise me if this administration seized Space X and shuts it down.”

Which is what they are doing right now. Spaceship 2 has been ready for a few weeks now and can’t get a launch permit.

As of June 2023 the FAA got a new acting admin. a female from New York. Wonder why?

“Won’t surprise me if this administration seized Space X and shuts it down.”

There would be severe repercussions from shutting down Space X with respect to the ability of the US to put men in space.

In 2014 NASA gave Space X and Boeing contracts for a reusable space vehicle to launch missions into earth orbit to supply the space station. Space X begin flying astronauts to the space station in its Dragon 2 spaceship in 2020. Boeing’s Starliner program has been plagued with delays. The first crewed flight in Boeing’s Starliner is not scheduled to fly until March 2024 at the earliest. The original Boeing plan was to have 3 spacecraft flying manned missions. This has been reduced to two. As a result there will be no spare vehicle contingency for Boeing’s contract with NASA.

How many NASA bureaucrats have been fired for this fiasco? Where are the screams for accountability in the media and from Congress? What is the Biden Administration doing about this epic fail by Boeing?

Crickets.
