To answer your question, I believe BOTH men received that number of votes because, and I'll type this slowly so you can get it, STATES MADE IT EASIER TO VOTE DURING COVID. More votes were cast due to the ease with which people could vote. It's really not hard to understand. Yet you don't understand it.
You are forgetting what happened.
Hillary got 65M votes. Biden didn’t campaign and had no widespread support.
They shut down the voting in the middle of the night in the 5 biggest swing states, changed the signature rejection rules and kept counting until they found enough votes.
Joe Biden then increased Hillary’s vote total by 16 million votes. S i x t e e n M i l l i o n V o t e s. The least impressive, least liked, least capable candidate in the history of the Democrat party got 16 million more votes than the first woman to run and one of the shrewdest politicians in history.
Trump was holding rallies with thousands of people attending. There were Trump caravans with dozens and dozens of vehicles driving up and down the highways in half of the states. He had hundreds of thousands of people who said in 2016 that they didn’t trust him and wouldn’t vote for him and then said they would crawl over broken glass to vote for him in 2020.
Yes, Trump had much, much more support in 2020 than he did in 2016. Biden didn’t have nearly as much support as Hillary did in 2016.
The rules were changed in PA, GA, MI, AZ and WI to mail out and then collect millions of ballots to be scanned in until the right outcome was reached.
