House GOP members are preparing a motion to expel Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., amid his renewed threat to pursue a motion to vacate House Speaker Kevin McCarthy.
The House Republican members will seek to expel Gaetz if the ethics committee report comes back with findings of guilt, Fox News has learned. One member told Fox News the report is mostly written but does not know what it contains. Yet following threats to vacate McCarthy, the member said of Gaetz, "No one can stand him at this point. A smart guy without morals."
It takes a two-thirds vote to expel.

The House Ethics Committee has been investigating Gaetz since 2021 on allegations, including campaign finance violations as well as claims of taking bribes and using drugs – accusations the congressman has vehemently denied. Gaetz also denies allegations leaked from a Justice Department sex trafficking probe said to have involved an underage girl.

I’m aware Kemp is compromised.. And it is not reported.. None of it is.
He would not give that senate seat to Collins, who it should have gone to.. A Trump supporter, a minister and would have won that seat for congress.
Kemp gave that seat to a woman, who had money but no qualifications to win.
Kemps daughter’s boyfriend worked for her and was killed on the road when his car blew up as he was driving. No investigation, though suspicious.
There are other insinuations on Kemp but no reporting done. He is not the good Ole boy he portrays when necessary. He’s dead set on going against Trump in everything.

The night the votes were counted, late and hoping the republican could win that senate seat.. The dem won.. And it was the final dem win they needed to turn the senate democratic.
The race was that woman, Collins, and the dem candidate. Collins saw 2 rep and 1 dem was not gonna turn out republican.. He withdrew early in the count that night. She lost.
Collins has been a favorite GA republican.. Good guy all round.
Kemp would not give the senate seat to him, even tho calls and emails begged him to.
I’ve been in GA 30 years.. It was a dem state for years. Enough northerners have moved south.. And so now we have a “republican” who hates our man Trump.
Those who he answers to... All are destroying my country!

Atlanta is a city run by the black community.. They don’t seem to ger’the facts the dems do them no favors.
Northern GA is predominantly white.. One of the wealthiest counties is Forsyth and that is the county they marched in some years ago. Fulton Co is in the news.. It’s ripe for contention
There was a black pastor of a large church, some years ago.. Brought in a man who was into investing.. The pastor had him speak to the congregation on investing. Many blacks invested their savings.
They lost... A major news media was doing interviews on this... One senior black man was being interviewed on TV.. And was asked if he still went to that church.. He said yes.
I’m trying to give McCarthy the benefit of the doubt, but it’s getting next to impossible to do so at this point. The only possible good that may come from the continuing resolution is that it pushes any 2024 government shutdown fight past election day. That would be a good thing, but only if he plans to hold the line, 45 days from now. I see no indication that he intends to do that.
This is a very SAD story.
I’ll have to cheer myself up somehow.
