Gaetz: I Won’t Deal with Dems — They Will ‘Own’ McCarthy if They Save His Speakership
Representative Matt Gaetz (R-FL) said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that after he offers a motion to vacate House Speaker Kevin McCarthy’s (R-CA) post, if the Democrats save him, they will “own” him.

The uniparty does not own but 2/3% of the elected House Members
Truth be known it’s difficult to get much traction with only one house of govt. We need the Senate and even there it has to be free of rinos and Trump in the lead. Absent that it’s all uphill.
McCarthy will survive this time, but if he fails to deliver once again after 45 days, he will be gone. McCarthy gave away the store when he volunteered to raise the debt limit (no limit) until January 2025.
ABC Roundtable (Rachel Bade) suspects many Ds will have trouble defending their vote to save McCarthy’s speakership and will not.
