Again there’s no way to spin this as a win except by the most delusional and desperate kind of coping, because ALL of our priorities and essential goals were stripped out in the continuing resolution, and we got nothing. Practically nothing at all, especially for the top priorities of border security and restraining Biden’s tax goons and other extreme spending. It’s just weak coping to bring up anything with Ukraine because that’s so incredibly low on the priority list of anything, most Americans just don’t care either way on that and the amount of funding there is comparatively just drop in the bucket. (And it’ll come in anyway by the tens of billions of dollars in the Pentagon black budget, that’s the real source of it)
The overwhelming priority for conservatives and for the country in general are for border security because without this, we don’t have even have a country that survives and none of the other policies matter at all. We lost 99 percent of what we were seeking with Mccarthy’s back-stabbing and ALL of the most important priorities, especially with the border, even the one little bone Cowardly Kevin is trying to throw at us is basically irrelevant and not a victory at all. All the while thousands more criminals and drug pushers flood through the border every single day and literally invade our homes and communities.
So yes sadly, this is a loss, a huge embarrassing loss for true conservatives and anyone who actually believed the Republican leadership would fight for Americans, and resist the cheap labor lobby. And the main culprit is none other than Speaker of the house Kevin Mccarthy. We had a strong position and he gave away the farm just like on the debt ceiling, not because mean scary Democrats “bullied” him into doing it but because he himself is a fully sold out pawn of the cheap labor lobby. And is on board with AOC, Jeffries, Schumer and other Open Borders Democrats.
The one and only consolation for us is that the continuing resolution if it does get through a Senate filibuster, just postpones the fight for another couple weeks and we get to re-join the fight again. The media was trying to say it was for around another 40 days or so but one of the budget officials just now came right back and said it actually might not be for more than around 20 or 30 days, that’s how fast the deficits and national debt for America are rising up. And since these budget negotiations take weeks, it means literally at the end of this coming week or next, the budget fight will pick right back up again.
Sadly during those next couple weeks it’s going to get even uglier and more painful for Americans being overrun by this ongoing invasion that Mccarthy so cowardly gave into. We needed the border security now, not a few weeks from now, and in failing to even stand up for our priorities, Mccarthy just guaranteed that dozens or hundreds more American neighborhoods will start getting overrun. The invaders are coming in from everywhere now, not just the gang and cartel countries but huge armies of migrants from West Africa and Muslim countries now pouring over the border every single day, then just disappearing and bleeding us dry with even more welfare and crime. And fentanyl and meth are literally flooding in now, just last month we got news not far from our hometown that a young kid, around 10 years old, overdosed and is still having to get detox because fentanyl somehow even got in the school cafeteria! That’s what we’re facing, and in even just around the 3 weeks before we get to fighting about the budget again, that’s going to be over 100,000 new invaders pouring into the US and overwhelming our communities even more.
That’s the real price of Mccarthy’s betrayal and back-stabbing. And when the budget fight starts up again in October, and probably in no more than a couple weeks, we can’t have a traitor like him in a position of leadership, preparing to back-stab us on the most fundamental issue for the survival of our nation, the heartland and the Constitution. He needs to go.
So who would replace him, and have enough votes to take the job?
You clearly have it wrong.
Ukraine funding was stripped out. And that is the only thing that allowed him to have a majority of the GOP caucus.
THAT was the only priority in play.
He won’t be booted because he violated no requirement that he not pass it over the majority. The majority of the GOP approved only because Ukraine was stripped out.
That whole war teeters on the brink of erasure. It’s a huge win. Provided — that funding does not come to the floor over the majority preference of the GOP.
