The problem is that several states have basically legalized infanticide by permitting abortion without exception well past viability.

Leave it to the states to make that determination.

If one unwaveringly believes in the sanctity of life, then one should support any avenue that would protect life.

I can’t agree with that because at that point it is no longer abortion it is infanticide.
