Yes, tossing. But the statistics are as you state. It’s almost de facto abuse to introduce a strange man into the life of your female children. Assume he will abuse simply because it’s so statistically likely to happen.
Unfortunately, in this situation, the man should be willing to prove that he’s not an abuser of children. I hate to go against my principles of innocence unless proven guilt, but for the sake of the children I can’t hold that principle.
