It seems this entire debate is focused on Dem social issues.
Abortion should be handled at the state level. We don't need federal legislation. Roe vs Wade was ruled unconstitutional because it was a federal mandate.

Haley vs Scott exchange was humorous. Scott was on his soapbox talking balanced budget amendment, opening up energy, etc. Sounded great. Then Haley says Tim you’ve been in the Senate for 12 years and you have not done any of those things. No fan of either but the exchange was hilarious. Scott didn’t know what hit him.
DeSantis has come out looking the best. No fan of Christie but he handled himself well tonight.
All this is a dry run for 2028.

Well, not sure about Christie. Desantis could be, if he wasn’t trying to dethrone Trump this cycle. But he’s too smart to pull a Kasich. I hope.

DeSantis is the clear winner here tonight in my and my husband’s opinion. I agree he's been clearly the best tonight, but not quite as good as the last one. He was amazing in the first debate, IMO.
