My 30-ish niece told my sister last month “My generation cannot wait for your generation to die off.”
What an absolutely horrible thing to tell your mom. I never, ever remember thinking that about my parents’ generation.
“Doubtful” - indeed.
I would bet that your sister has FORGOTTEN more than the niece will ever know.
