Everyone wondering about anything *debate/debate thread* related need to re-read Catturd’s great weed eater post...LOLOL. I'm not aware of the "weed eater post," but I will say that for myself, I chose to watch the Astros game first, record the Republican debate to watch later, and then watch the Trump speech on YouTube third.
My reasoning is simple:
- The Astros are fighting for a wild card spot with only four games left (as of last night) and they were only a half-game ahead of Seattle with the last game of the season with them about to start. One has to have priorities, you know...
- I have always been a political junkie and a watcher of presidential debates for as long as I can remember. I put that ahead of a speech that I can watch later because I want the debate fresh in my mind as I consume and process the next day's news cycle.
- President Trump is so far ahead in the primary polls that I can wait to see his speech. In fact, I just started it now.
