The first rule you learn as a new officer is to NEVER issue an order that you know will be disobeyed.

The second is to avoid orders where you don't KNOW whether or not they will be obeyed.

Officers that don't learn these rules rarely make it long enough to become old officers.

I'm not sure what makes the Democrats believe that the military would follow their orders. There might be some leftist senior officers but they could not be sure that the rank and file members would go along rather than turn their weapons on the senior officers.

I haven’t heard that one although I do not doubt it in the least. He also faces a very real assassination threat. If their fake indictments do not bring him down, I feel they will move on to ending him although of course they will make it look like an accident.
