I’m open to the concept of machine hacking or rigging.

I spent 38 years in the IT industry, so I’m aware any computer device can be hacked and made to do things it was not meant to do.

IMO, it’s unlikely that it’s happening, I’ve detailed in the past about how many things you would need in order to hack machines.

In this article one thing that I’m skeptical about was the concept of injecting ballot images into the voting machines, with mismatched dates and time stamps.

IMO, someone who is technically capable of getting into voting machines and injecting ballot images into the system is smart enough to manipulate the date and time stamps so they don’t get caught manipulating the vote totals.

The beauty of the scheme that I think is happening only requires someone who can gather ballots, fill in the proper circle on a ballot, put the ballot into an envelope and deposit it into a lock box.

Q: Why do states that don’t use RCV have RCV-enabled voting machines...?

Inquiring minds want to know.

A theory of mine is that One America News was cancelled by DirecTV and maybe some cable feeds because Mike Lindell was directly over the target when he went public with the results of those investigations. Apparently, he dropped a bomb on what it is and how it works.

I share your suspicion, but IF the system was designed to be able to make the injections via a scripted undocumented method could it be hidden?

I’m not a programmer, but I spent 5-1/2 running a catalog and advertising department for a wholesale distributor. I lived each day dragging files from and to AS-400 (flat file), windows and Redhat Linus desktops, Quark (for print) and some of the crudest methods (hacks) internally to script printing huge (4,000 page) catalog and all their promotions (monthly and seasonal, some were 1,000 pages). I took the department from the offset printing platform to scripted publishing.

Never once missed an important deadline. I was the only person in the company who knew all steps of the pocess, if you want to call it a process.

That was more than 10 years ago. There is no way I could do it today. The company is out of business after 105 years, because they bought a similar company in CA. Took 20 years for the CA company to bankrupt both divisions. CA division consistently lost more money than the Texas division made. The last year before the bankruptcy, the Texas division made $1 Million bottom line.

I road it down (my 2nd term with that company), I was the first to be fired. They were liquidating and no longer needed what I was doing.

Was like loosing an old friend. Went to work for them in 1972, walked away from new owners in 1988. Came back 15 years later for 5-1/2 year stint before they liquidated.

That last 5 years, I was the only person with as much access to the AS400 system, outside the IT department.

Most people don’t know how fast scripted image files can be processed and manipulated. There were 47,000 items in the Texas branch’s warehouse. In one night I created a thumb nail and sized item image for every one of them using the command line Image Magic (open source software). And absolutely amazing fast. I started the conversion at 6:00PM went home, came back to office at 4:30 AM. It was all done.

After 30+ years working in high tech and 6 years exploring IT, I agree with you.
It is more likely vote gathering or vote swapping with California voters.
Back in 2000, there were listings in Craigslist for CA voters willing to swap ballots for other States.

CA could swap 5M votes and not impact CA results.
