It took them 6 days to come up with that.
Not the sharpest knife in the drawer. Imagine the deal he might have gotten if he had played it straight, been honest, and told them they were making a mistake, that he was the wrong guy, that they should not be releasing him? Now, when they catch him, he is truly screwed.

It is the “Squid Defense”. The Defense muddies up the water, when the water clears, the squid is gone. In the sea, when a predator gets after a squid, the squid releases ink which “muddies” the water around the squid. When the water clears, the squid has escaped.

I’m considered semi-rural here. The town center is a mile away, and I live in a neighborhood but our house backs up to woods, creek, and a farm. So as soon as you get to my house and see the backyard, you don’t remember that you’re in a neighborhood at all. I’d love to have more acres than we do, but truthfully, I have my hands full keeping this property up as it is. By the way, it’s about time for me to get back outside and get some work done.
