He won’t forget that takedown for a long time.
Cop that hit him should’ve jammed on the gas instead of the brake and finished the job.
Thats what I call good police work and they didn’t even fire their weapons.
Looks like the one that went up on the sidewalk almost did...
Car #2 drove over him.
The number of cameras involved is pretty amazing.

Re: Taiwansley Jackson, 23SL-CR01252
Dear Honorable Judge: Lasater;
I’m writing to you for mercy on behalf of Taiwansley, who is being charged of the following crimes Assault 1st Degree Or Attempt - Serious Physical Injury Or Special Victim, Armed Criminal Action , Felony Unclassified, Unlawful Possession Of A Firearm on February 21, 2023 .
He is scheduled for arraignment before you. I am asking that you consider a bond reduction upon his release from the hospital.
I appreciate your impartiality during this time, and I believe he is fairly charged of the above listed crimes. I am in no way making light of the crimes alleged above but would like to point out that, even though he did commit the crimes, it was an extremely unusual behavior for him because he is not a violent guy. This act was not done with malice nor his intent. His life conditions at the time were extremely stressful, prompting him to act out of fear and momentary insanity due to grief
Taiwansley has been going through trauma after trauma since his release 7 years ago. Although he has been gainfully employed through temp agencies and odd jobs for family members. In the last 1 ½ months he has experienced 6 fatal tragedies of close family members a suicide, heart attack,3 murders and an attempted murder all of family members his age or younger.
He resides with and helps support his mother and a younger nephew. He is extremely supportive to his family and serves as a major support system to a lot of the young men in the family and our elders by helping in areas where help would be limited due to cost, he steps in free of charge.
Tai as he is affectionately called by family and friends has made tremendous changes in life since his past incarcerations and has a support system. This I feel sure was an isolated incident brought on by PTSD and fear. Due to, the injuries suffered after being struck by the police cruiser he is hospitalized and had surgery, therefore posing no threat to society.
It is my hope that a bond reduction would allow him to be released and cared for at home by family versus the state paying for his incarcerated care.
Thank you for reading our letter.
Respectfully,
His Family
I think he will have a light pole mark, for a long time.
Sic semper Taiwansley.
I like these feel good videos!
” has made tremendous changes in life”
What were these tremendous changes? Higher magazine capacity? Hollow points? Practicing using his off hand?
"He was a good boy..."
The perp has a new nickname; “Speed bump Jackson”.
Bump for later.
Get it, bump?
I slay me.
Not many people can manage to fall off a chair.
If you run from police in a vehicle you should automatically have two years tacked on to any prison time to run after you have served time for your initial crime. If in the process of fleeing you hurt someone, tack on another two years. If you kill someone, tack on another ten years. Further, and most importantly there should be no bail for anyone that flees in a vehicle. They have shown they will run if given the chance and they are willing to kill police and other citizens in the process. This Grand Theft Auto mentality has to be dealt with harshly.
