Did I read this story and am I remembering it right from about 20 years ago.
Mooshelle was on the board of a hospital in Chicago. Making about 160,000, Her husband elected to the senate. He puts funds into a bill for the hospital, her salary doubles.
At the time, she held a lawyer's license and was hired because of it but was not on the board of directors. Who knows what the hell she did.
Once Obama was elected and they moved to DC, she left her $300K job and the hospital never replaced her.
