... I really don’t plan on getting what abortion compromise “gets you”. What an awkward and unpleasant discussion that is going to be.
From my point of view, President Trump is trying to get out in front of the issue that concerns every single woman in this country, and the majority of those women are prepared to vote for any dem that insures they have unfettered access to abortion at any time they please.
And of course, trotting out that specific subject just in time for the election is precisely what President Trump is attempting to get out in front of, from what I can see. Get the conversation out there now and get it settled one way or another now instead of waiting to get ambushed like Graham did the the right back in the midterms.
Unpleasant? That's certainly an understatement.
Women are not going to simply change overnight and accept that the status quo will no longer be what they were brought up to believe. As I previously stated, it will take several generations to get rid of the mentality that you can abort your child whenever you desire.
