I too knew two women who had Ectopic pregnancies. They both wanted children and this mentally tore them apart. Still and all, both would have died and so would their unborn babes, had they not had the abortions.

And no, Ectopics were not usually caught very early on in pregnancies. If they are now, I don't know about that.

Ectopic pregnancies usually occur in the fallopian tubes and are discovered early in pregnancy. Usually around 8 weeks. Surgery to remove such a pregnancy has never been considered an abortion. It does not even meet the medical definition for such. Those who claim abortion bans mean a woman must wait until the tube bursts before seeking treatment are scaremongering.
