Oddly increased CO2 levels in the atmosphere have accounted for about a 15% increase in food production. It is plant food. Perhaps the Oil Companies should seek compensation from the state for using their plant food. Even more odd is the fact that the recent increases in CO2 are vastly the results of non man climate change. As the earth warms in its natural cycles the solubility of CO2 decreases in the warming oceans and that greatest reservoir of CO2 gives up CO2 to the atmosphere until the natural cycle reverses itself over tens of thousands of years and takes us back to a new ice age which is brutal for life on earth.

Historically speaking we are currently in a CO2 drought.
