The Texas Senate just voted NOT to impeach

So, for those of us not it Texas, what’s the nickel version this fustercluck.
Clearly a lot of GOP house members voted for this, but in the Senate, the GOP senators thus far seem to be less than on board with it.. so what was the backstory for this ?
