The Texas State Senate will vote at 10:30am Austin time, 11:30am Pacific. This will conclude the impeachment trial of Texas AG Ken Paxton.

So, for those of us not it Texas, whatโs the nickel version this fustercluck.
Clearly a lot of GOP house members voted for this, but in the Senate, the GOP senators thus far seem to be less than on board with it.. so what was the backstory for this ?
