You missed it. Newsom just did. He’s fighting in court for the right to clear ‘the homeless’ off of San Francisco streets and NO DEMOCRAT, particularly in a Leftist jurisdiction, wants our streets cleaned up UNLESS they’re looking for higher office. Something is up with him...
Except for the slow witted, it's a done deal.
Newsom’s wealthy contributors are tired of bleeding cash with their commercial real estate holdings....
This is about money—not politics.
Trump will win the nomination with ease and if the economy slides into recession as most predict (and its already been bad), he will cruise back into the White House.
DeSantis has proven to be a bad candidate. He has no appeal to voters outside the Republican base. For example, he is for the trade deals that gutted American manufacturing, and he approved a 6 week abortion ban (most Americans would be fine with 15 weeks, but not 6) in Florida. Try selling that in the Midwest.
To those of us who work regularly with the base (I help mentor 35 Precinct Chairs) it has been obvious for a year that they would vote for Trump no matter what.
Only the Elites down at the country club could not see it. And, now they feel slighted by democracy.
Nothing is a done deal for those who can’t see there might be a future jailbird in the mix and I am not talking about the Great Governor of Florida either
