How goofy. What you call unengaged voters won’t engage and vote at all and they sure won’t vote for Meatball.

They may have ballots in their name but they won’t be legit.

If the establishment uniparty can take down Trump with phony indictments and convictions, then they can do it to anybody that they don't like.

Ron DeSantis doesn't understand that, not even an inkling.

You’re clueless. If you can only vote for a specific group of candidates thebelection is completely and totally useless and meaningless to a free people. Get a clue, it’s not just about Trump. It’s about what it means to have a government that has the consent od the governed.

Trump will lose if convicted, even if convicted unjustly. The middle isn’t joining the “frog meme still voting Trump” crowd.

And if it works the country is done.

That point is over Meatball's head.

That we are more concerned about loyalty to a candidate than winning elections.

Another one who doesn't know what time it is.

there is one scandal they would throw the book at Biden for. Namely, the real possibility he could lose to Donald Trump. They just might throw the book at him to get a more viable contender.

Would you expect DeSantis to say anything differently? His poll numbers suggest he would win easily. His persecution by the deep state suggests it believes Trump will win easily.

You know, Denial isn't just a river in Africa!

You know who is hurt the most by 2020 election results?
Yes! It is 66% of 2020 Biden voters! I mean the 30% cumulative inflation has devastated the lower income Democrats. The backlash will be historic in 2024. Unleouss of course senator Graham introduces another bill to restrict all abortions after 15 weeks. Then repeat of 2022 midterm crash of red wave.

Ron's predictions must be coming from a Magic 8 Ball.

P.S. I would have sent this comment to Reno89519, but they've demanded, and threatened me not to comment to them anymore.

That is a thoughtful post. Thank you for sharing the link. I’ll stick with DeSantis, but it is nice to see Freepers actually write detailed heartfelt and non-insulting thoughts on the topic. Thank you.

North Carolina doesn’t matter. He won there already. He needs Nevada, Arizona, Michigan, Georgia and New Hampshire. Good luck!

Let's say your fondest desire occurs (to play devil's advocate). What you are not stating is the obvious, there are not enough Republicans and Independents who will hold their nose and vote for DeSantis to overcome the Democrat opponent, even without the attendant Voter Fraud!

Well, look, I never thought he should run to begin with, even before all these legal cases when he left office in January of 2021,” ...

DeJeb speaks like the swamp scum...

It’s good that he waited until after the Durham Report to announce.
Removed all doubt of his swamp status

You don’t understand.

These are Independents. They do not differ from one state to the next. He has made huge gains with them, because of the persecution. It will be so everywhere.

This is a very undignified approach for Desantis. The polls should answer the question—Trump will win.

I only worry about one vote.

It’s going to Trump - free, convicted, or jailed.

It is never going to DeSanctis.

He’s been on the government dole too long.

People are going to vote for Trump even if he is convicted of something....

So, the next time Reno89519 post as similar question, reno’s likely going to be asking

“Who will people vote for when Trump is dead”....

Of course reno won’t say how, or by who.....

But it can be inferred that it’s the choice desantis and the uniparty wants at this point, because Trump’s nomination is currently a certainty....
