Before this one term in the Senate for Utah Romney had been a failed one-term Governor of Massachusetts, the 4th GOP Massachusetts Governor in a row, Romney left that office with 34% approval and it flipped to the Democrats.
How Romney became known as one of the great statesmen politicians of our time and the GOP Presidential candidate has always been a mystery to me.
