Yes, indeed we would.

We were making incremental gains on abortion before Roe was overthrown. Then that decision energized women to go vote, and had moderate Republican women vote Dem.

You can ban partial birth abortion.

You will NOT have the votes to ban first trimester abortion, and any attempt to do so will result in massive Republican losses.

John Roberts was right. He was more supportive of incremental progress by the SCOTUS. He didn't want to overhaul Roe vs Wade.
