McCarthy can definitely bring the impeachment to the floor. But I suspect he hasn’t yet because he doesn’t have the votes. It’d be extremely embarrassing to have the impeachment hearings and it be voted down. In fact, it’d be a disaster.
I suspect there are a enough RINO’s in the House who would vote against impeachment to defeat it. I bet they are the same people who likely did or would have voted to actually impeach Trump.
We have no real opposition or fighting party. We are on our own......right now.

I think you are correct in that they don't have the votes. there are other issues where the margin is razor thin as well. There are a lot of kinzinger's and cheyney's in the "R" party.
Having the scum on record for NOT wanting to impeach - take your pick - biden, mayorkas, garland - would at least show where the internal "R" problem resides.
I could also argue that what we currently have can be classified as a "disaster". Short of the Comer hearings what has actually been done?
