“”Tour the battlefield.””

Did that on our senior trip in 1954. Ask me what I remember!!! Some things I do remember from the age of 17 but not much from that trip - LOL. Would love to do it again!!

Every American should visit Gettysburg. Before you tour the battlefield, go to the museum and watch the film that explains the battle from beginning to end. To stand where President Lincoln stood when he gave the Gettysburg Address gave me chills.

That being said, something has gone very badly wrong when a male pastor in any demonination has a “husband”, and his flock has no problem with it.

How long before they tear the battlefield down and replace it with gay night clubs? Disgusting.

Exactly. Visited this summer. Nice updated museum. The refurbished 360 panorama is really neat. The driving tour is good.

Much improved since the last visit 20 years ago.

Tour the battlefield. Skip the town.

I would also recommend a visit to President Eisenhower's ranch. When I was there in 2010, access to the ranch was through the museum, which took visitors there with shuttle buses and provided guided tours. It's probably the same today.

Amen. Stayed at the Baladerry Inn, wonderful food and accommodations, and the Bride was visited. Made sounds I have never heard out of her. I was awake the entire time. I stood on the edge of the Wheatfield. My psychic senses have never experienced such an overwhelming feeling. God rest all of the souls who died or maimed there.. ❤️🇺🇸❤️
