Tucker is Episcopalian. He has no idea what a real Christian is.
Few Russians are serious about their Orthodox faith. With most it’s a mental acknowledgment of their nation’s official religion. It’s not a daily walk. Church attendance in Russia is dismal. But that too indicates little.
But what do I know? Never been there. Wonder if there is a survey of the typical Russian’s daily walk & relationship with the Lord.
The Lord knows who are His, and on the other hand I’m sure He has many in Russia. And some are bound to be Orthodox. I have no problems with the Orthodox faith - it is orthodox. But acknowledging a religious system or faith does not make one a true Christian.
But
I’ve been to Russia and many of its neighbors. Cheating on ones partner and drinking alcohol are the national sports of Russia. And ice hockey, of course. The idea it is a piously Christian country is gut bustlingly funny to those with any experience there who carry no Russophile agenda. In fact it is the least Christian country I have visited in that part of the world.
Interestingly, Tucker never talks about a genuinely Christian country: Poland. Now why would that be? Could it be he has a gaslighting agenda and knows nearly all of his target audience has no general knowledge of the situation? That they will just believe whatever nonsense he shovels?
“Tucker is Episcopalian. “
I dated an Episcopalian once. He said he was “J. V. Catholic.”
