I think he statement was one of ignorance of foreign affairs, relative to the needs of the position he aspires to not necessarily anti Israel sentiment. Like our current President who has been ranting about “settlements” for decades. Two of our last three Presidents share/shared this defect. I’m not anxious to have a fourth.
