Some places the value comes from the land and the location, more than the actual house itself. No need to insure something you can’t lose.

THE LAND & THE LOCATION is NEVER covered by insurance.

The cost to rebuild & housing during rebuild is covered.

“ Some places the value comes from the land and the location, more than the actual house itself. No need to insure something you can’t lose.”

I talked with my insurance company about this. The insurance was for more than the house, minus the the land, was worth. They explained that the difference was the cost to clean out the property if a total loss occurred.

I believed them.

fRiend opinions welcome.
