A mentally ill person allowed to possess deadly weapons.......AGAIN.

I wonder if the FBI (or some other government entity) has a list of these mentally unstable people who are racist and have the potential to be violent.
It probably wouldn’t take much of a “nudge” to send them over the edge when it’s expedient to do so.

The FBI can access the NICS (National Instant Criminal Background Check System) and any other databases used to screen wouldbe gun purchasers. They can crosscheck this with data about charges, convictions, mental institutionalizations, raw intel from informants and social media, etc.

Since it is the FBI’s job to look for threats, they presumably create and monitor long lists of potentially violent, racist loons and criminals — at least they ought to. Given the DoJ/FBI’s history of integrity, abusing that capability has never entered their minds... I sort of doubt it in this particular case.
